One of the best parts of photographing a wedding is getting to know the bride & groom, their friends and family and joining in the celebration of their special day. The Shope wedding was no different. What an amazing group of people! Dustin & Antoinette are the sweetest and we are so grateful that they allowed us to be a part of their big day.
We woke up to news of a water crisis in Toledo and the uncertainty of how this might affect the Shope wedding. People were flocking to Bowling Green and surrounding areas searching and stocking up on bottled water. Despite the chaos, Antoinette and Dustin had a ton of help to make sure their day was not affected. It was like nothing was going on in this corner of the world. No water crisis was going to slow them down!
It was so fun to watch Antoinette's sisters help her get ready. Their love and excitement filled the room as they prepared for this much anticipated event. To top it off, we got to enjoy little Joey's sweet smile all day!
After the beautiful ceremony, we headed to Wildwood Park for photos with the bridal party. Everybody was having a blast, cracking jokes and enjoying the perfect Summer day.
We met up with them at The Ohlman Farm & Greenhouse for an evening of delicious food, fun and dancing. This was a very unique location for a reception, but it turned out perfect! Dustin & Antoinette looked absolutely stunning during their first dance. Their love radiated from them as they danced with everybody watching and cheering them on. Joey joined them and added to the love. Watching him laugh as they spun around was priceless. These pictures cannot express the pure joy this little family had.
It was such an honor to get to know Dustin & Antoinette (and Joey, of course) and to celebrate in their special day. Congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs. Shope!
