A Curated List of Our Favorite Vendors

Through the years, we have worked with some wonderful vendors. People who help make the wedding day run smooth and ensure a great time is had by all. We've curated a list of some of our favorite just for you! This list is ever growing as we continue to meet and network with new vendors, so if there is anything else you are looking for, feel free to ask!

Photobooth

It would be silly of us not to mention our photobooth first. We started Swatch Photobooth a few years ago and have brought it to weddings, birthdays, graduations, holidays and corporate events. Our couples LOVE the elegance of the booth itself and their family and friends have a blast with it all night! With a variety of backdrops, props and customization, you can make the booth exactly what you want it to be!

Venue

There are several wonderful venues in the Toledo area and we are constantly discovering new ones. We had an exceptional experience for our wedding at The Blarney Event Center. With it's tall ceilings and brick walls, it's the perfect mix of urban and romantic and screams Toledo pride with beautiful imagery of the city skyline. Another new favorite of ours is Hensville in Downtown Toledo. Another great venue in the heart of downtown with an urban feel and an epic rooftop looking over the Mudhens Stadium and the beautiful city.

Planner

Investing in a wedding day coordinator is invaluable. Not only will they assist you in the major decisions you have to make, but they have a network of other vendors that they trust who can also help you. We absolutely love working with Dani from Bee for the Day. The whole team of bees do everything they can to make the wedding day as stress-free as possible. It truly shows through in the photos!

Music

Whether you hire a band or a DJ, it is important to find someone who will keep the fun going throughout the evening. If you want your guests dancing and having a blast all night, you want to provide them with good music! We had an amazing time with Last Call Heroes at our wedding and would highly refer them to anybody looking for a great band. If you prefer a DJ, contract Brian at Ultimate Nights DJ. We have always had a wonderful time working with them at weddings and they know how to have a good time!

The Dress

We have never heard a bad word about Belle Amour Bridal. The team of ladies there put everything they have into finding you the perfect dress. You will feel welcomed and you will feel beautiful; making your dress shopping experience everything it should be! We also love everything about The Brides Project in Ann Arbor. Not only can you find gorgeous designer dresses, but you are donating to The Cancer Support Community of Greater Ann Arbor.

Florist

Your bouquets, boutonnieres and floral arrangements not only add to the beauty of your day, but they are one of the best ways to accent your style and everything you put into your wedding day. Whether you prefer lose, flowing greenery or a unique variety of carnations, decorative cabbage and dark plum succulents, your florist will help you create the perfect look. Brigitta at La Boutique Nostalgie specializes in floral and design. We love their work so much, we chose them to do the floral for our own wedding!

Graphic Design

Total customization and a unique style is one thing we specifically wanted for our wedding invitations. Uppercase Designs did not disappoint. Kelly is great to work with. She listens to your vision and brings it to life. She has a unique eye and has the ability to create exactly what you are picturing. Not sure where to start? Check out our blog highlighting a few things to keep in mind when planning your invitations!

Dessert

I'll admit, I'm definitely a sweet tooth. It is extremely hard for me to turn down dessert at weddings. Although I enjoy MOST of them, there are a few that stand above the rest. If you are looking for something unique, do what we did: Holey Toledough Doughnuts. Handcrafted, gourmet doughnuts that will undoubtedly leave an impression on your guests. They will talk about these scrumptious desserts for days, weeks and months after the wedding. If you are not quite ready for something that unique, visit Wixey Bakery. They have mastered the perfect mix of beauty and deliciousness in cakes, cookies and cupcakes!

Hair & Make-up

We typically start a wedding day with the bride and her bridesmaids getting dolled up with hair & make-up. We've had the chance to work with a lot of truly talented make-up artists and hairstylists! One of our favorite teams, and the two that did the girls hair and make-up in our wedding is Betsy & Sara. They are from Camelot Salon in Holland and are on top of their game as far as making you look and feel your best with beautiful and unique styles. Another extremely talented make-up artist is Zoe Garrow from The Golden Vanity in Bowling Green. She specializes in airbrush makeup, creating a stunningly flawless look.
